1 Kings 19:12
Book Reviews
In His Steps by Charles M. Sheldon
(95 pgs)

This work of fiction is what propelled the famous "what would jesus do?" phrase. Quite frankly, I don't understand why we would ever have to sit and think about what the Jesus we've constructed in our heads would do when we ought to simply do what God has plainly told us to do. The plot and the characters are really unrealistic and this sappy book simply reminds me of the lobotomy patient voices I hear on Christian radio stations babbling something about "positive, encouraging, and safe for the whole family."
