"When I was a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me."

1 Kings 19:12
book reviews
the Gospel for Real Life by Jerry Bridges
(193 pgs)

In this book, Bridges lays down the fundamentals of the Christian faith in an extremely comprehensive and simple way. The book is simply an in depth look at the events and implications of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His assertion is that most Christians do not live a full life due to shallow or incorrect knowledge of the gospel. I completely agree with him, and this book works as a remedy. Some of the more educated Christians may find the book rather simple, but every Christian needs to master the material in this book. Especially new Christians or those who have not been specifically taught about the Gospel itself in great detail ought to read this book.
